i have a p.c. with windows xp. less than 6 months old laptop. i have ms word. when i try to do anything with this program it says runtime error and shuts off. i don't even have time to save what i was working on, only 5 minutes or so pass. i am new to computers and do not know what to do. i have my final paper due next week for school and can not work on it. please help. i ran a virus scan and nothing was detected. is there a site i can go to that will fix this? or what needs to be done?
Please help me! i am having 'runtime error' and 'abnormal program termination'. i don't know what to do!
If this only happens with Word, can you uninstall and reinstall the program?

Reply:You might be low on memory. Is it full? Try deleting some unnecessary programs. In the meantime if you cannot find out what's wrong save your file in word every minute to be sure you save what you're doing.
