I am trying to load Office 2003 and I get an this error message?

"Runtime error! Program C:\windows\system32\msiec.exe this application has requested runtime to terminate in an unusual manner" Any help out there would be appreciated. Thanks

it has to do wiht the install program and on your machine, it may be outdated..
