Run time error?

I often get a run time error while using yahoo messenger. the error is "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: c:\Program files\Yahoo\messenger\yahoomessenger.exe





Abnormal program termination."





because of the aboce error messenger gets closed and find it difficult to have a conversation. Pls help to solve this
