BIG PROBLEM! Please help me!! Save my computer please!?

Ok...Some days ago, I created a new Yahoo! ID. I tried to make an avatar but it froze and sometimes the IE closed suddenly without warning. I thought it was bad luck but...I tried to open my Messenger but sometimes it said there is a problem, sometimes it closed by itself just like IE, and now it says it failed to initialise (kind of error). Now I can't open my Nero StartSmart, my Messenger, sometimes my Avira Antivir, sometimes IE...After numerous tries I hardly succeeded to reach Yahoo!Answers. At certain programmes it says it's a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error , it caused the program to terminate. Yesterday, when I tried to open different features of Avira it said things like : Out of memory. The virus or unwanted program was not deleted. What out of memory, I have lots of free memory! What virus???


I mention I have SUPERAntiSpyware and Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic. Now, the scans work reaaaallly slow.


Anyone has a solution for this? Please, please help me!!!

That probably is a virus. If I had that problem, i would just reformat my drive. But i know you don't wanna do that. What you wanna do is get these anti-virus with fire wall. first download the spybot S%26amp;D. It's the first site below. After downloading, scan. Do the same with the second site below. It's called Avast. It's a virus scanner and a firewall at the same time. Those two are awesome. AND FREE!!





Then, what version is your IE? You should use IE7. Or better yet, use firefox for safer browsing. I indicated the site for that too below.

2. Run AVG antivirus, Spybot, Ad-aware, and everything else that gets rid of crap on the computer.


3. STOP USING INTERNET EXPLORER! Go to http://www.getfirefox.com and download Firefox.


4. Get all the available updates from Windows Update.


5. Check RAM and HDD connections.





If it still doesn't respond after all that, a reformat may be in order.
Reply:hey the best option iz formatting of ur system and remember have a backup storage of all ur important filr before formatting it and use quickheal antivirus its too gud for people using internet regularly.

Reply:Make a complete new installation of your system. Seems you also have lots of worms, trojans, etc. Your computer is totally corrupted. A new installation might be the best. I know this is not the answer you want to hear - but, believe me, it's probably the best thing you can do.


Format your system. Hard and *****ty work, but probably the best.

PS: what you also can do is to make a scan with the free "Spyware Terminator" - maybe that helps? But, I am skeptical.

EDIT: if your Antivir showed over 3400 warnings, then you really SHOULD format your system and make a totally new installation of "Windows" IMMEDIATELY
