Nero 7 problems....HELP!!!?

Hi..I hope someone can help here. We have had Nero 7 for some while, downloaded it and purchased serial number. Anyways it worked well but then teenage daughter thought she needed to uninstall it. Since then we have not been able to get it working again. We have totally uninstalled it (as advised by the Nero admin people) and reinstalled it, but whenever we try to convert torrents into DVD's we get this message

"Runtime Error!

Program:C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Nero Vision\NeroVision.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more info"

Can someone please help me get around this?

We did contact Nero, but they only told us to completely uninstall and reinstall. We have done this like 20 times and it is still giving us the same error message.

Can someone smart please help? :-)

Nero 7 problems....HELP!!!?
So your trying to convert small torrent files into DVD's?

Did you download the file that the torrent linked to with a program like utorrent: http://www.utorrent.com

Another converter that works great for just converting but doesnt have the other features of nero is xilisoft video converter 3: http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=xilisof...
Reply:what is the exact runtime error code? please post it if you have it.

also when you uninstalled it did you make sure to remove anything that was left behind that had something to do with with nero, today's programs always leave traces of themselves after an unistall creating a mess when you try to reinstall the software and use it again. Also when you are installing the software especially if you are using Vista make sure that you are doing it as an Administrator so that it allows the program to overwrite any files it might need to.

It sounds liek the installation is not finishing properly though it may be telling you it is. I have had similar issues with another program and after I uninstalled it I went back and did a search for anything it left behind deleted it all and started over.

I also recommend you to get Nero's General Clean Tool and run it to completely wipe out Nero from your system.

Hope this helps.
