Itunes help?

Im trying to open my ipod when i open it an error report comes up and says "software application has encounted a problem and needs to close. " so i click send error report. It goes through everything then Microsft visual C ++ Run time Libary

i dont know whats wrong, but i recomend u either take your ipod into an apple store or call up the apple store and ask them what to do.

Why does my Internet Explorer randomly close?

Reply:Looks pretty obvious, it's a java issue. Try reinstalling java runtime and see if that clears it up. Or you could install a better browser like Firefox.

I can open the first page of a webpage but then I can go no further. For example I open yahoo no problem but when I try to click yahoo mail it stops receiving. I did have a virus and I think it changed kernal32 and something else

Runescape errors?

Hi,





Firstly i cannot stress how unbeilivably annoying this problem is.. it stops me from gaming on the internet, which i enjoy for the most part.





The problem is with the online game 'Runescape' whenever i log into Runescape my web browser and my Java randomly closes... it could be 5 mins into gametime or 5 hours, it varies and is a totally random process, i have updated all the latest drivers on my computer so no hardware faults are causing it to crash, lately Runescape has been closing right after i log in, or after a small amount of gametime, another problem that also occurs is my computer will sometimes auto restart after signing into Runescape,


When my computer restarts i do not get error logs appearing on my desktop, however when my browser just crashes, i do.





i really hope i get help with this issue, you can't imagine how frustraited i am,

My best suggestion to you is try uninstalling java from the control panal %26gt; add / remove software. Once you do that go back to www.java.com and download the NEWEST java build. This should help fix your problem. I would also recommend installing adobe flash and shockwave. There was a new java build that came out last month and Runescape uses the latest java build. If you aren't updated u may experience this problem.

prior of yahoo messenger are much more difficult to get up and running as the polygamy patches are very much version specific simply because they replace the main exe file. by that i mean you need to know the exact version number e.g 7.5.0.819 of yahoo messenger and grab the patch for that specific version Yahoo Messeger as the patch rarely works across multiple versions/builds.





John at http://www.programmingsource.net/ has pretty much all the patches for the previous versions available, he has (from what i remember) has a tutorial explaining about runtime files etc that are required and how to install them... might be worth checking out if only to download another patch for your specific version of yahoo messenger to see if that works :)

You need admin rights to uninstall the game. If you are the admin and it still won't let you, then you need to use brute force and manually delete the BethesdaSoftworks\Oblivion\Data folder and all its contents. Then you need to delete the save game files in the MyDocuments folder. And lastly, delete the registry key. If you do not know how to access the registry or are not comfortable messing with it, then don't. Nothing will happen if the key is not removed.

How can I load info into a 17770x480000 element array?

I need to put that much info into a super fast accessable area. I first tried making thousands of files but...





Reading text files takes too long for each prediction, about 1 second. In order for this thing to be done within reasonable time, the predictions have to be made at about 50/s or else it'll take too long.





It would be really useful if i could load all the info into one giant matrix. For some reason or other, c++, or rather visual c++, or my pc, doesn't let me do this. I get an error at runtime. Can i fix this?





I could theoretically simulate a matrix on my harddrive, but in order for that to work, the memory on the harddrive must be accessible through numeric address using pointers. Is this possible?





(I would need about 3.2 gigs or memory one way or another. )





I've heard of people making giant bit streams, where you could read any bit by inputing an address? Does this use RAM, or the hardrive, or both? How would i do this?

You dont say what the platform is, but a 64 bit box with sufficient ram should be able to do this (You would probably need a 64 bit OS to have sufficient per process address space).





Does windows have an equivalent of the posix mmap call? That allows you to map a filesystem object into the processes address space and would let you work with a smaller amount of ram (but you would still need the VM space, so probably still a 64 bit platform).





How good is your data locality? can you partition the problem into multiple smaller datasets that even if run as one process each would ease your VM space constraints?





Is the matrix sparse? Can you take advantage of this?





Just some thoughts.
Reply:Are you really sure you need that much space? I've been working in CompSci for 25 years now, and I've never had the need for a matrix that big...





I don't think you'll be able to fix this problem using in-memory matrices: if you were trying to store single bytes for matrix elements, it would require 8 GB of RAM, and few computers have that.





So you'll have to store it in a file, and even that is iffy because lots of filesystems out there don't support files larger than 2 GB. But you might be able to split it up in several files.

I have windows xp media center edition, and getting Microsoft visual C++ on desktop toolbar?

I get this error right after I start my computer, before I connect to the internet. And the screen switches from my desktop to the blue screen from the media center and it says media detection in progress please wait...but never does anything after that. I am just learning computers so I don't know how to fix my runtime library program, any help would be great. If I go to the download at microsoft, I don't know what it is that I need to fix it?

I was getting this too on my relatively new HP computer XP media edition. It popped up on my system when inserting a new disc and the computer sat there trying to figure out what kind of disc it was and what to do with it.. I think. It got stuck. I had to ctl-alt-del and find the "disc gui" program running in the list of processes and kill that process to get any kind of control of the computer back.





TO FIX IT:





I did a file search for "discgui.exe" and found it a couple times in the c:/program files/disc/.. subdirectories. I changed the name of each occurrence of the file to "discgui.exe.old"





Problem hasn't come back since.

I see three syntax errors: the expression for IF must be in parentheses.





The runtime error is going to be: Can not convert "int" to "string"





Note that you are going to get an integer result from "max / min" - and also that you did not check for possible divide by zero errors. So, if max is 3 and min is 2, your result is going to be 1, not 1.5.





I think there is also a logic error there... the min isn't set correctly. You start by setting it to the value of "a" - then if a is greater than either b or c, you set the min to be "b", but if it's less than both of those, you set the min to "c"? What happens if they are equal? How can "c" ever be the min?

Why can't I finish installing yahoo messenger?

Alright, I'll start from the beginning. I had been running version 6 of yahoo messenger. My internet connection was recently disconnected (for about a month) and when I finally got reconnected (through the same ISP) My yahoo messenger would say that the operation had performed a runtime error. I restarted my computer multiple times thinking it might have been some fluke in the program. Well it continued to shut down everytime I signed in. So after getting tired of that, I decided it was time to delete version six and install the newest version. Well I downloaded the msgr8us.exe program and began to run it. The installation will make it to 4% and say "Download of file has been cancelled or interrupted. File not completely downloaded." Then it says "The file C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Installs|ymsgr8us.exe could not be opened." Can anyone tell me what's going on? I've disabled all firewalls to troubleshoot the problem, but no dice. Please help!

.....for over a year now i have been playing online with battlefield 2142, but over the past year i have been experiencing some strange problems.

In Safe mode only the core elements of Windows are run, thus pesly things like trojans ought not run at all, hence giving you a chance to sort the problems out without the hacker causing you grief at the same time.

Virtual memory is system memory that is simulated by the hard drive. When all the RAM is being used (for example if there are many programs open at the same time) the computer will swap data to the hard drive and back to give the impression that there is slightly more memory.





Right click on My Computer %26gt; left click on Properties %26gt; Advanced %26gt; Settings %26gt; Advanced. Under Virtual memory left click on Change.





Select (left click) on the Drive on wich Windows XP is installed. In most cases this will be Drive C.





Under Drive:


Space available: Select the radio button labeled: Custom size:





I would recomend using 2000 MB for both sizes.





After setting the new page file size left click on


OK %26gt; OK %26gt; OK. Then restart the computer.

A window popped up on my computer saying

When i press ok the screen goes blank then it comes back to the way it was but with another message saying


Error path 67 not found


and if i close the window instead of pressing OK it does the same thing.


Does anybody know what this is or what should i do?


Also it causes for internet windows to pop up by themselfs even after i have logged off the internet.


And if you dont know could you suggest some sites where i could find some usefull info?

Scan your system. explorer.exe is a program which lets you explore your computer. my computer is one of the components of this program.
Reply:Try running your anti virus program, disc clean up or disk defragmenter. You can find the last 2 under start, all prgrams, acsesories, system tools
Reply:explorer.exe is the Windows Shell (Start Menu, Desktop, Wallpaper, etc.) however it sounds possibly like you've got some spyware/adware/etc. but to check for viruses you can download AVG Free (look for it on Google)





Some good Spyware tools, AdAware/Windows Defender/HijackThis (be careful with that one)
Reply:You have a part of a program file missing.


Error path (67 not found) is a missing file.


Runtime is a library that has different files.


You need to find C:\WINNT\explorer.exe by typing it into the (run) area is.





To locate the (run)


click on start menu


you should see search and run....click on run and type in the program missing.





You may find this difficult to follow once you have done it.


And you may find that other messages will start to come up running other programs telling you that you have other files missing.





If this happens


go to the start menu and click on help and support....you will get alot of help from that.


But again if not...call mircosoft. 1 800-936-3500 they will help you and give you a step by step guide to get through or advice you what to do.
