Microsoft error. How can I fix it? (The error is in the details) Please help.?

I keep getting an error. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c96/em...

It says Microsoft visual C++ runtime library and then a program file and other stuff. I don't know why this is happening. It happened when I tried to open a word document I sent to myself because I needed it later at a different computer and I couldn't do anything with the document because it made me click "ok" to the error then the document closes.. Its happened before, I can't recall what for but I remember the error. Please if you can give me any info on this error or how I can fix it. It would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a screenshot of the error once again: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c96/em...

Good luck
Reply:I think there is something wrong with your MS word application. try doing this:

start - run - winword /safe

see if it starts, if it doesnt go to control panel and add or remove programs and repair your office application installation.. you might need the CD for this but sometimes the application installation files are stored on your computer... try it...

all the best...
Reply:reinstall the microsoft

i had same problem except for a different program, reinstall it and it would work.
Reply:I would guess that the file is corrupt in some way and the word program cant handle some of the characters in the file.

You might recover some of the text if it will open in Wordpad.

If you have the original try sending it again , possibly in a zip file.
