Musicmatch Jukebox - Keeps Crashing and getting run time errors? Also getting mouse drift.?

I have version 10, It will only play about 6 songs and then I either get a C++ runtime error, a hidden shell error, or the program just locks up and its computer reboot time! I also get mouse drift (Logic Tech cordless) on the screen when using the program. Wierd. Any solutions or better programs/music systems to sign up for?

If you want to continue using Musicmatch, I suggest doing an uninstall and clean install. To do this, go to Add or Remove Programs and remove Musicmatch. Then go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the Musicmatch directory. You may want to double check that you don't have any songs saved in that directory before you delete it.

Once that is done, make sure you have the latest install from musicmatch.com, and then run that.

If you continue to experience problems, you might want to look into Yahoo! Music Engine. Since Yahoo! bought up Musicmatch, most of the work has been going into that product. It's pretty good, especially Yahoo! Music Unlimited.

You can get Yahoo! Music Engine from http://music.yahoo.com/musicengine/
Reply:Re-Install the program.

Something went wrong with a databasefile.

Also, what is mouse drift?
