my windows media player has stopped working. when you click on the desktop icon, it does this weird cascade of some kind of error message for a microsecond, then nothing. the program doesn't open up or anything. from what i can see in the millisecond that the error message comes on the screen, it is one of those "visual c++ runtime error" messages. ive tried re-installing it and trying older version but nothing works, it only works when i put in a blank cd and click "burn using wmp" but i need a permanent solution because it causing problems

Reply:Probably by you re-installing it, you caught some sort of virus? Try getting your computer fixed up and complete with no viruses.
