What do these errors mean and how can I fix them?

Whenver I right click, ctrl-c, ctrl-v, or ctrl-x on any file or folder on my desktop anywhere in "my computer" i get an error message reading "The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b" followed by another error "Runtime error 217 at " followed by a series of 8 letters and numbers that varies each time ex: 027FF822. After I hit ok on both these errors they reappear one more time. After I hit ok on both for a second time they go away and the computer does what I wanted. What's going on?

After restart, see if the runtime error is generated when you run your application. If the error is generated, then the service you selected on the Startup tab might be causing the conflict. If there is no error, repeat the process for all programs and services on the Startup and Services tab until you find the conflicting program. If you identify the conflicting program in this step, rectify the problem associated with it to resolve your runtime error. Otherwise, proceed further.





Step 2: Update your system





Runtime errors may generate if the files on your system are obsolete or corrupt. This is the reason why it is important for you to regularly update your Windows operating system, device drivers, and software applications with the latest updates, security releases, patches and service packs.
