Why does my computer keep saying i don't have enough virtual memory? what is that? is this something to check.

then i get these runtime errors i have never seen before.Something about C++. Anybody have any answers?

Why does my computer keep saying i don't have enough virtual memory? what is that? is this something to check.
Virtual memory is system memory that is simulated by the hard drive. When all the RAM is being used (for example if there are many programs open at the same time) the computer will swap data to the hard drive and back to give the impression that there is slightly more memory.





Right click on My Computer %26gt; left click on Properties %26gt; Advanced %26gt; Settings %26gt; Advanced. Under Virtual memory left click on Change.





Select (left click) on the Drive on wich Windows XP is installed. In most cases this will be Drive C.





Under Drive:


Space available: Select the radio button labeled: Custom size:





I would recomend using 2000 MB for both sizes.





After setting the new page file size left click on


OK %26gt; OK %26gt; OK. Then restart the computer.
